City Clerk

The City Clerk serves as the secretary to the municipal corporation and governing body, and local election administrator, providing a variety of administrative and community relations services.

Communications Office

The Public Information Officer reports to the City Administrator and oversees external and internal communications; public relations and events; brand identity; as well as communications and marketing strategy for the City of Summit.

The Office of the Treasurer administers the financial affairs of the City, including purchasing, general accounting, salary and benefits administration, investments, preparation of bond issues, as well as the accounting of all City capital projects.

Fire Department

The City of Summit Fire Department (SFD) provides a comprehensive array of services including fire suppression; fire prevention; public fire safety education; rescue; 911 telecommunications; and emergency medical services at the first responder level.
