Deforest Lots - Fees

About

 Fees are required for parking in the Deforest Avenue parking lots with one free hour to start. Ambassadors will be available in each lot to assist customers. Fees are required Monday through Saturday from 8AM to 6PM. Parking is free after 6PM and all day on Sundays and parking holidays.

Residents are asked to pay when they park, for a maximum of 5 hours of parking, with the first hour free.

After parking a vehicle in the lot, initiate payment at a kiosk. Begin by entering a license plate number. Pay with credit card or exact change (no coins) at the kiosk, or with the Parkmobile app zone 1801. The first hour of parking is free every 24 hours. Enter a mobile phone number at the kiosk to get a text reminder to extend a session up to five hours.

The five hour time limit will be enforced with violators subject to ticketing.

Why are there time limits for parking?

The posted time limit on parking is designed to keep spaces open for business customers and area visitors by requiring vehicles to vacate spots once the time limit is reached. Overstaying the limit in non-metered residential streets or adding more money to the meter after reaching the time limit is illegal. These rules have been implemented to best maintain short-term parking availability.
