The Summit Police Department is proud to employ the finest law enforcement professionals in the State of New Jersey. The Department roster includes 50 full time police officers certified by the New Jersey Police Training Commission. Each officer is sworn to protect life and property through the enforcement of the laws of the State of New Jersey and by upholding the State and Federal Constitutions.
