Our Mission
The mission of the Summit Police Department is to maintain order, preserve and protect the lives, peace and property of the citizens of Summit, and to enforce the laws within the framework of the United States Constitution and the Constitution of the State of New Jersey. The department and its individual members will, without favor prejudice, work or cooperatively with the public to provide a safe community and strive to enhance the quality of life for all citizens.
