Meet Summit police officers at Cops and Cones on August 24

JCP&L power line inspections

JCP&L will be conducting aerial patrol inspections of power lines in the Summit area for approximately one week, from August 11 to August 18, weather permitting. A blue and white helicopter with tail number N894HA will be flying above or alongside lines.

SPD summer bicycle safety program runs through end of August

To encourage children to practice bicycle safety, Summit police officers will distribute $5 gift cards to children that they observe demonstrating proper bicycle safety techniques, such as wearing a helmet, using hand signals and obeying traffic laws.

Tier Garage closed on weekends for repairs July 29 to August 29

The Tier Garage will be closed for repairs between 5PM on Fridays and 4AM on Mondays from 7/29 to 8/29, weather permitting. Project schedule and timeline are subject to change. Please contact Parking Services at 908-522-5100 with any questions.

New recycling vendor and schedule change effective July 1
