[ARCHIVED] Increase in reported cases of Hepatitis A virus in New Jersey

Hepatitis A is a liver infection caused by the hepatitis A virus and spread by human contact. It is very contagious among people who are not vaccinated. Most adults get symptoms 2 to 7 weeks after exposure but some adults do not get any symptoms.
