This free event is being co-hosted by The Junior League of Summit and the Summit Conservancy. It will feature live music, food & drink, and plenty of family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo with baby goats and “touch a truck” with the Summit Fire Department, First Aid Squad and Division of Public Works. The event will also include environmentally-friendly crafts and household products for sale from local vendors, as well as guided hikes led by Reeves-Reed Arboretum along the beautiful Passaic River.
All proceeds from the event will support the ongoing effort to build a permanent home for the Summit Free Market at the Transfer Station location.
Event-goers may also make a personalized contribution to the Conservancy with the purchase of a custom engraved brick. Bricks will be for sale throughout the event.
