[ARCHIVED] Register for resident parking & disposal permits with license plate recognition

NF parking digital permitting

The new digital permit system with license plate recognition has no physical permit to place on vehicle. All residents are required to renew annual parking/municipal disposal center permits online by October 31, 2017.

New permits will be valid through September 30, 2018. Permits are required by the City of Summit for all residents to park in municipal lots and garages and to use the City of Summit Transfer Station on 40 New Providence Ave.

The new digital process requires residents to create a personal account online with a username and password. Once the registration process is complete, users will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to initiate the permit renewal process with a credit card online.

A postcard with instructions has been mailed to all Summit residents. The Parking Services Agency is available to assist residents with the permit renewal process if they are unable to independently initiate the process online. Please call 908-522-5100 or email parking@cityofsummit.org for more information or to set up an appointment.
