[ARCHIVED] NJ TRANSIT to Restore Full Service to/from Penn Station NY on Tuesday, September 5

Please be advised:

Effective Tuesday, September 5, NJ TRANSIT plans to restore full rail service to and from Penn Station New York (PSNY), following the conclusion of the Amtrak summer repairs. As a result, all Morris & Essex Lines (M&E) Midtown Direct trains will resume service to and from PSNY and will no longer be diverted to Hoboken.

All fare discounts, substitute and enhanced bus services, as well as cross-honoring on bus, rail, light rail, PATH and NY Waterway ferry services in effect during the modified schedule between July 10 and September 1 will end at 3AM on Saturday, September 2.

Summit commuters are strongly advised to check the new schedules for specific departure times and station stops. Please visit the NJ TRANSIT website for more information.
