[ARCHIVED] City of Summit Hosts 70th Annual Fourth of July Celebration

The City of Summit 70th Annual Fourth of July Celebration will take place on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Soldiers Memorial Field, located at 5 Myrtle Avenue. The day-long celebration will include entertainment, rides and amusements, as well as an expanded food truck festival.

The day will begin with the Flag Raising Ceremony at 9:45AM, followed by the children’s decorated bicycle parade at 10AM. Rides, amusements, and children’s entertainment will continue until 1PM, when Memorial Field will close for setup for evening activities.

The evening’s festivities will begin at 6PM and will include rides, entertainment, and the food truck festival. Presley and Melody will perform an interactive pop music concert at 6:15PM, followed by the Infernos in Concert at 7:30PM. The night will close with the spectacular fireworks display, beginning at 9:15PM.
