The Summit Police Department is hosting a community awareness presentation with the FBI Newark branch on Wednesday, October 16, from 7PM to 8PM in Council Chamber at City Hall, 512 Springfield Avenue.
An FBI special agent will present information about crimes against children including child safety awareness tips and proactive safety precautions parents can take to protect children, with a focus on social media platforms and the internet.
This is a free event for adults only. Photography, video, and audio recording is strictly prohibited during the presentation. Limited seats are available and pre-registration is required. Email admin@spdnj.org by Monday, October 14, to reserve a seat.
