[ARCHIVED] Planning Board Releases Report on Study of Gateway I Zone Expansion of Bouras Properties Site

The City of Summit Common Council requested that its Planning Board conduct a study of the Gateway I Zone and consider adopting an ordinance extending the boundaries of the zone to include the property at 25 DeForest Avenue (Block 1906 Lot 1) commonly referred to as the Bouras Properties building site.

Additionally, the study area was slightly enlarged to include two additional properties known as Block 2607 Lots 4 and 5 fronting on Euclid Avenue, Beechwood Road and Parmley Place (located in the MF zone district). This was included since the area requested for study would essentially encompass these properties necessitating a comprehensive review of the area to insure changes to the streetscape of Euclid and Beechwood would be considered.
