PROCEDURES
Secure a three to five day supply of food and water.
Charge cell phones.
Buy batteries for flashlights and radio.
Build a first aid kit.
Know the location of the nearest shelter in case of evacuation order.
Test generator and secure fuel for it (do not use indoors, exhaust properly)
If prescribed, order extra oxygen before bad weather arrives.
Secure any outside objects from yard and construction sites that could become airborne.
Check on elderly neighbors once storm has ended.
Stay away from downed wires. Call 911.
