The City of Summit Parking Services Agency is announcing the option for downtown employees to obtain and renew annual parking permits online at https://summit.gtechna.net/permit/login.xhtml beginning September 1, 2016. The new virtual permit system is managed by license plate recognition with no physical permit to place on a vehicle.

During the month of September, all downtown employees that park in municipal lots and garages are required to renew annual parking permits. New permits will be valid from September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2017. Parking permits are required by the City of Summit for all employees to park in municipal parking lots and garages.

Summit residents working in the downtown do not need to renew permits at this time.

For more information, email parking@cityofsummit.org or call 908-522-5100. Employees that currently prepay for parking are encouraged to email parking@cityofsummit.org and request that payment be transferred to the virtual permit system.
