NF Night Light Bag.jpg

The City of Summit is assisting in a book collection effort with Central Presbyterian Church for a memorial service recognizing the 15th Anniversary of September 11. Central Presbyterian requests donations of about 100 new, hard-cover children’s books before 4:30PM on Friday, September 9.

On September 11, Central Presbyterian will be assembling tote bags for Summit first responders to give to children when they are involved in a call or emergency situation. The “Night Light Bags” will include a blanket, stuffed animal, and glow stick. The City of Summit is encouraging residents to donate books to be included in tote bags as well.

The donation box is located at the Maple Street entrance of Central Presbyterian Church, 70 Maple Street. A second collection box is located at the Summit Free Public Library, 75 Maple Street.
