With an impending winter storm, the City of Summit encourages all residents to prepare now and take extra precautions.
If you can, please avoid driving and give our crews the space they need to keep roads safe. Before the storm arrives, remember to charge your phone, gather any necessary medications, keep batteries and flashlights handy, and make sure you have an adequate water supply.
Once the storm passes, please shovel sidewalks and walkways within 24 hours, avoid shoveling snow back into the roadway, and check in on neighbors who may need a hand.
