The City of Summit Parking Services Agency is sharing information on renewing resident parking permits. All current valid Summit resident parking permits expire on October 31, 2025. Online registration is now open; new permits will be valid from November 1, 2025, through October 31, 2026.
Permits are required by the City of Summit for residents to park in long-term municipal parking lots and garages and to use the Municipal Transfer Station on 40 New Providence Ave.
Registered permit holders with an existing online account may renew a permit online at cityofsummit.org/permitrenewal. Step-by-step instructions are available in the “Help” section of the online portal.
