City offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, and Friday is also a parking holiday in Summit with no fees required for on-street parking or parking in municipal lots and garages.
The Transfer Station will be closed on Friday, July 4, and there is no recycling collection on Friday, July 4. Friday collection will be pushed to Saturday 7/5. There is no change to trash collection this week; trash is still collected on holidays in Summit.
Recycling items should be placed at the curb by 6AM the morning of residents’ weekly pickup, or the night before. Use the SeeClickFix app or the Report a Concern module on the city website to report missed pickups. More information is available at cityofsummit.org/recycling.
