[ARCHIVED] Residents to Renew Annual Parking and Transfer Station Permits by October 31

Effective now through October 31, Summit residents are required to renew annual parking and Transfer Station permits online. Permits are required by the City of Summit for residents to park in long-term municipal parking lots and garages and to use the Municipal Transfer Station on 40 New Providence Ave.

All current valid permits expire on October 31, 2024. New permits will be valid from November 1, 2024, through October 31, 2025. 

Registered permit holders with an existing online account may renew a permit online at https://summit.gtechna.net/permit-portal/login.xhtml. Step-by-step instructions are available in the “Help” section of the online portal.

For more information or assistance with permit renewal, please contact the Parking Services Agency at 908-522-5100 or email parking@cityofsummit.org. Appointments for in-person renewals are available Monday to Friday from 9AM to 1PM.
