Union County is performing overnight paving operations tonight, October 2, from 7PM to 6AM on Springfield Avenue between Chapel Street and Route 24, weather permitting. Sections of the road will be closed while work is completed.
Police will be onsite to direct traffic and detours will be in place. Residents are asked to park vehicles on neighboring side streets during work hours and overnight as needed. Police will be notified of overnight and extended parking on side streets.
Expect traffic and delays in the area. Please leave extra time while traveling in and around this area while work is completed.
