City offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5; both days are parking holidays in Summit with no fees required for on-street parking or parking in municipal lots and garages. The Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and will be open on Friday, July 5, from 7:30AM to 3:45PM.

There is a modified recycling collection schedule for the week of July 1. Recycling collection on Monday, July 1, Tuesday, July 2, and Wednesday, July 3, is unaffected and will continue as planned. There is no recycling collection on Thursday, July 4. Thursday's collection will be pushed to Friday, July 5, and Friday collection will be pushed to Saturday, July 6.

Recycling items should be placed at the curb by 6AM the morning of residents’ weekly pickup, or the night before. Summit residents should use the SeeClickFix app or the Report a Concern module on the city website to report missed pickups. Please note, trash is still collected on holidays in Summit. More information is available at cityofsummit.org/recycling.
