PURPOSE: The City of Summit is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Mabie Playground located at 30 Summit Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901 (nearest intersection: Summit Avenue and Walnut Street).

PROJECT SCOPE: The City of Summit proposes improvements at Mabie Playground by developing a new, completely inclusive playground. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found at: https://www.summitcommunityprograms.com/261/Mabie-Playground.

PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on January 23, 2024, at 7:30 PM. The meeting will be held in-person as part of the re-scheduled Council meeting from January 16.
