05/19/2025—At approximately 0631 hours a 52-year-old male from Plainfield was arrested following a motor vehicle stop for a NCIC warrant with the NJ State Parole Bureau. The defendant was processed and turned over to the NJ State Parole Board.

05/20/2025—At approximately 2222 hours a 69-year-old male from Berkley Heights was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop. The defendant was processed and released with a pending municipal court date.

05/21/2025—At 0613 hours units were dispatched to investigate a burglary that occurred at an Ashland Road residence. The victim stated the suspect(s) entered an unsecured rear door sometime during the overnight hours. The suspect(s) stole two sets of vehicle keys fobs and subsequently fled the scene in two BMW’s belonging to the residents, a 2024 BMW X7 and a 2021 BMW X3. 05/22/2025—At 0945 hours units were dispatched to investigate a burglary that occurred at a Sunset Drive residence. The initial investigation revealed that the suspect(s) broke a rear glass door to gain entry sometime during the overnight hours. There were no occupants inside the residence at the time of the burglary. Taken was a Gucci handbag, Sterling cups, and various Sterling silverware items. 05/26/2025—At approximately 0321 hours a 23-year-old male from Summit was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop. The defendant was processed and released with a pending municipal court date.

05/29/2025—At approximately 0001 hours a 26-year-old-male from Summit was arrested and charged with simple assault, a disorderly person’s offense. The defendant was processed and transported to Union County Jail.

05/29/2025—A 30-year-old male from Newark was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy (all crimes of the 3rd degree). The defendant was processed and released with a mandatory superior court appearance.

05/30/2025—At approximately 1527 hours a 38-year-old male from Newark was arrested on four (4) active warrants out of Newark. The defendant was processed and released with a new pending court date.
