At approximately 4:45 PM on Monday, February 3, 2025, a 2022 Range Rover was reported stolen from a parking garage located in downtown Summit.

A team of Summit officers and detectives subsequently used the Range Rover’s GPS system and monitored its movements.

At approximately 7 PM the team of Summit officers located the stolen vehicle parked on Pine Street in Elizabeth, occupied by five males. As the officers approached the vehicle, all five suspects exited and ran. After a brief foot chase, the officers were able to apprehend four of the five suspects. One suspect remained at large.

The suspects were all charged with third degree receiving stolen property and fourth degree obstruction of justice. The suspects were released on their own recognizance following processing.

The suspects were identified as; Andy Delaluzcclara, nineteen (19) years old from Summit; two (2) sixteen (16) year old youths from Elizabeth; and a third sixteen (16) year old youth from Newark.
