The Summit Police Department is hosting an NJMVC Mobile Unit event in the parking lot at City Hall (512 Springfield Avenue) on Saturday, November 16, from 10AM to 2PM. Members of the public are invited to attend and can renew registrations, apply for IDs, and more. NJMVC Mobile Units are wheelchair accessible.
Appointments are required for the following services and can be made online at https://telegov.njportal.com/njmvcmobileunit:
- REAL ID
- Registration Renewal
- Initial Permit (Tests are NOT given at Mobile Unit)
- Non-Driver ID
- Duplicate/Replacement Title or Registration
No appointment is necessary for the following services:
- Surrendering license plates
- Handicapped, Veterans, or Purple Heart placards
- Purchase red GDL decals
