The Summit Police Department received a report of a burglary on Waldron Avenue in Summit between 2:30PM on Saturday, December 3, 2022, and 7:45PM on Sunday, December 4, 2022. 

Residents stated that when they returned home on Sunday evening, they found several rooms within their home had been searched and belongings had been rummaged through. The suspect or suspects had apparently gained access through a window at the back of the home while the residents were away overnight. At the time of the report, it was unknown if any items had been stolen.

The Summit Police Department Detective Bureau is investigating the incident. Anyone with information pertinent to the investigation, including surveillance footage of the suspect or an unknown vehicle in the area, should contact the Detective Bureau at (908) 273-0051.
