Areas of flash flooding and road closures are continuing to develop. Please avoid all unnecessary travel.

Tips from the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management:

-If you approach a flooded roadway, turn around.
-Six inches of fast moving flood water can knock you off your feet, a depth of two feet will float a vehicle. Water may be deeper than you think.
-Do not attempt to drive over a flooded street. Obey traffic barriers.
