04/26/2025—At approximately 2158 hours a 51-year-old male from Livingston was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. The defendant was processed and released with a pending municipal court date.

04/26/2025—At 1245 hours a report was taken for a stolen motor vehicle parked at a River Road business. The victim stated a black 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen sometime between 4/16/2025 and 4/26/2025. The vehicle is valued at approximately $23,000.

04/27/2025—At approximately 2208 hours a 44-year-old male from Wayne was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. The defendant was processed and released with a pending municipal court date.

05/03/2025—At approximately 2254 hours a 42-year-old female from Berkley Heights was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. The defendant was processed and released with a pending municipal court date.

05/04/2025—At 1024 hours a report was taken for an attempted burglary that occurred at a Morris Avenue residence. The victim stated that when they returned home at approximately 0000 hours on 5/4/25, they observed that the front door and locking mechanism had sustained damage but no entry had been made. Total monetary damages to the front door and molding are approximately $1,000.

05/04/2025—At 1325 hours a report was taken for a theft at a Morris Essex Turnpike business. The caller stated at approximately 1314 hours on 5/4/25, a male actor operating a black, late model Volvo, received fuel and left without paying. The suspect received 11.769 gallons of premium gasoline resulting in a loss of $48.01.
