Activity blotter March 10 to March 23, 2025

03/10/2025—A 34-year-old male from Rahway was arrested and charged with aggravated assault against a healthcare worker. The defendant was processed and released with a pending court date.

3/10/2025 – Four juveniles (one 15-year-old male from East Orange, two 15-year-old males from Newark, and one 16-year-old female from Newark) were charged with receiving stolen property, specifically for being in possession of a stolen motor vehicle.  The female juvenile was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.  Two of the male juveniles were transported to Essex County Juvenile Detection Center, one was released to Newark Police Department for an outstanding warrant, and the last juvenile was released to her mother with a pending court date.  

03/11/2025—A 24-year-old male from Summit was arrested and charged with criminal attempt and unlawful possession of a weapon. The defendant was processed and transported to Union County Jail. 

03/13/2025—A 39-year-old female from Summit was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and child neglect. The defendant was processed and released with a pending court date. 

03/19/2025-A 37-year-old male from Perth Amboy was arrested for two active warrants out of Franklin Township and North Brunswick. The defendant was processed and turned over to North Brunswick Police Department. 

03/21/2025—A 54-year-old female from Newark was arrested and charged with simple assault, possession of CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The defendant was processed and transported to Union County Jail. 

03/21/2025—A-70-year-old male from Toms River was arrested for an active ATS warrant out of West Caldwell. The defendant was processed and released with a pending court date. 

03/23/2025—A-33-year-old male from East Hanover was arrested and charged with stalking and harassment. The defendant was processed and transported to Essex County Jail.
