New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy also spoke at the event, congratulating Kenvue CEO Thibaut Mongon for the swift and dedicated effort in completing the light-filled building in just 11 months.
Additional dignitaries in attendance included Summit City Councilmembers Delia Hamlet, Jamel Boyer, Kevin Smallwood, Michelle Kalmanson, Bob Pawlowski, and Claire Toth, as well as NJ Assemblywomen Nancy Muñoz and Michele Matsikoudis.
Mayor Fagan expressed her excitement about Kenvue’s presence in Summit, noting that she has already met several Kenvue employees around town and hopes they will take full advantage of the city’s many offerings.
“Summit has long been a hub for talent and community spirit. Your decision to establish your headquarters here reaffirms what we already know—this is a place where businesses can grow, employees can thrive, and innovation can flourish,” Mayor Fagan said during the ceremony.
