The Summit Department of Community Programs is hosting a roller skating event on Friday, March 7, at the Community Center, located at 100 Morris Avenue. The “Throwback Friday Night Rec” event is part of the department’s 100-year anniversary celebration taking place throughout 2025.

There is a $15 registration fee required to attend, which includes skate rentals; attendees can sign up for one session through CivicRec. Five sessions will be held for different age groups; schedule provided below. Registration can also be made over the phone at 908-277-2932.

• 4 PM: Seniors
• 5 PM: Youth and Families
• 6 PM: Youth and Families
• 7 PM: Teens and Adults
• 8 PM: Teens and Adults

Light refreshments will be served, and open basketball play will be available in the Guida Gymnasium during the event.
