Summit Police Department has two roads closures to report this morning.

AVOID Orchard Street near Briant Parkway. The road is closed due to a fallen tree and downed power lines and requires a detour of traffic for the next two to three hours.

An overturned truck on Route 24 westbound near the Mall at Short Hills is causing significant traffic delays on River Road.

Expect traffic congestion in both locations and please plan an alternate route if traveling in either area.
