On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, between 5:45PM and 7:10PM, three vehicle break-ins were reported in the Huntley Tavern parking lot. The driver’s side window of a 2021 Jeep Wrangler was smashed, and the car was searched, but no items of value were reported as missing. An unlocked 2003 SAAB was entered and the victim’s wallet containing an ID and credit cards was reported as stolen. An unlocked 2015 Nissan was searched; no items of value were reported missing. The Summit Police Detective Bureau is investigating these incidents. Anyone with information should contact the Detective Bureau at 908-273-0051.
