Recycling collection will operate on a modified schedule for the week of Monday, September 4, through Friday, September 8. There is no recycling collection on Monday, September 4; all collections for the week will be picked up the next day and adhere to the following modified schedule:
- Monday collection moves to Tuesday, September 5
- Tuesday collection moves to Wednesday, September 6
- Wednesday collection moves to Thursday, September 7
- Thursday collection moves to Friday, September 8
- Friday collection moves to Saturday, September 9
Recycling items should be placed at the curb by 6AM the morning of residents' pickup. Summit residents should use the SeeClickFix app or the Report a Concern module on the city website to report missed pickups. Trash collection is unaffected and will operate on a regular schedule the week of September 4. More information on trash and recycling is available at cityofsummit.org/recycling.
City offices will be closed on Monday, September 4. Monday, September 4, is a parking holiday in Summit with no fees required for on-street parking or parking in municipal lots and garages. Mayor Nora Radest's office hours for Monday, September 4, are cancelled.
Regular hours at City Hall will resume on Tuesday, September 5; municipal offices will now be open from 8:30AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday.
