Weekly blotter February 19 to February 26, 2023

2/23/2023—Taha Jack-Spellman, 20, of East Orange was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing. Ms. Jack-Spellman was processed and released with a pending court date.

2/23/2023—Kalani Norman, 19, of Maplewood was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing. Ms. Norman was processed and released with a pending court date.

2/23/2023—At 0826 hours a report was taken for a theft that occurred at a Union Place business. The victim stated on 2/22/23 an unknown individual described as a thin white male approximately 30 to 40 years of age with light facial hair wearing a red knitted winter hat stole money from a tip jar located on a countertop. The total amount taken was $25 cash.

2/26/2023—Maria Lovell, 44, of Summit was arrested and charged with simple assault. Ms. Lovell was processed and released with a pending date.
