Weekly blotter January 9 to January 16, 2023

1/11/2023—Kevin Pupa, 35, of Hampton, NJ was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Mr. Pupa was processed and released with a pending court date.

1/11/2023—Ceirra Boger, 27, of East Orange, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Atlantic County. Ms. Boger was processed and transported to Union County Jail.

1/12/2023—Humza Saeed, 27, of North Plainfield, NJ was arrested and charged with criminal mischief. Mr. Saeed was processed and released to North Plainfield Police for an outstanding warrant.

1/11/2023—At 1537 hours a report was taken for a stolen motor vehicle parked at a Fernwood Road residence. The victim stated that their residential surveillance footage revealed that at 1253 hours their car was taken from the driveway—it is believed that the vehicle was unlocked with the key fob inside. Taken was a white 2021 BMW 300 series valued at $40,000.

1/12/2023—At 0954 hours a report was taken for a burglary at a Broad Street business into two motor vehicles. The victim stated that sometime during overnight hours an unknown individual broke a side window of a 2022 black Dodge Durango and stole a battery from a second 2022 black Dodge Durango. The total amount of the theft was approximately $300.
