Weekly blotter December 12 to December 18, 2022

12/13/2022—Joseph Underhill, 44, of Morristown was arrested and charged with shoplifting. Mr. Underhill was processed and released with a pending court date.

12/13/2022—At 0937 hours a report was taken for a theft that occurred at a Maple Street business. The victim stated that upon reviewing surveillance camera footage they noticed an unidentified female had shoplifted a piece of jewelry. The jewelry was valued at $1100.

12/15/2022—Nereida Johnson, 66, of Westfield was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Ms. Johnson was processed and released with a pending court date.

12/18/2022—Emilio Gomez-Ramos, 28, of Summit was arrested and charged with simple assault. Mr. Gomez-Ramos was processed and released with a pending court date.

12/18/2022—At 1832 hours a report was taken for a theft from a motor vehicle. The victim stated an unknown individual entered their unlocked vehicle sometime during overnight hours and took a set of keys located in the center console. Nothing else was reported stolen at the time of the report.
