Weekly blotter October 10 to October 16, 2022

10/14/2022—At 0919 hours a report was taken for an unlawful entry to an unlocked motor vehicle located at a Sheridan Road residence. The victim stated the incident occurred sometime during overnight hours. At 0800 hours the victim noticed the driver’s side door was ajar and the center console and glove compartment were open and papers on the seats. At the time of the report noting was noted taken from the vehicle.

10/14/2022—At 2345 hours a report was taken for an attempted motor vehicle theft located at a Lorraine Place residence. The victim stated just prior to contacting police they observed a male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt enter their 2022 black BMX 540 and attempt to start it. When the suspect observed the victim watching through the window, he fled the scene. At the time of the report the victim stated that a cellphone charging wire was taken. It is valued at $10.
