Summit Police Department Blotter Weekly blotter July 11 to July 17, 2022

7/11/2022—Cassia Beaulac, 32, of Tulsa Oklahoma was arrested and charged with burglary. Ms. Beaulac was processed and released with a pending court date.
7/11/2022—At 1901 hours a report was taken for a bicycle theft that occurred at a Morris Avenue business. The victim stated they had left their bicycle unlocked directly outside the front window of a business. When exiting the business 20 minutes later, the bicycle was gone. Taken was a blue GT Aggressor Pro bicycle valued at $800.
7/14/2022—At 1536 hours a report was taken for a bicycle theft that occurred at a Maple Street business. The victim stated they had theft their bicycle unlocked outside the business from 1230 hours to 1530 hours. The bicycle was discovered missing once they returned. Taken was a teal mountain bike with white and black stripes with a basket on the front handles. Unknown brand and unknown value of the bike at the time the report was taken.
7/17/2022—Joaquin Sarmiento Garcia, 31, of Summit was arrested and charged with sexual assault. Mr. Sarmiento Garcia was processed and transported to Union County Jail.
7/18/2022—At 1424 hours a report was taken for a theft of three bicycles that occurred at a Springfield Avenue business. The victim stated the bikes were stolen during overnight hours. Taken were Huffy bicycles valued at $250 each.
