The City of Summit is hosting a community meeting and presentation by video conference on Thursday, May 20 at 7PM on proposed concepts for the Broad Street West redevelopment area. The area between Broad Street and Morris Avenue, and Maple Street that has been designated “an area in need of redevelopment” by the Planning Board.
During the virtual meeting, an update will be provided by the community planner contracted by the city, Topology, on the progress made by the project team since the last public meeting. The designated redevelopers will present draft concept plans. There will be an opportunity for public comment and questions following the presentations.
“We continue to lead a very inclusive community-wide process for the Broad Street West redevelopment project and encourage active participation from residents and members of the business community,” explains Summit Mayor Nora Radest. “I am thrilled to present the preliminary concept plans to the public on May 20.”
