The City of Summit Department of Community Services is announcing the milling and paving of Elm Street between Morris Avenue and Broad Street beginning Monday, June 27 through Wednesday, June 29, weather permitting. The work will be completed by the Division of Public Works with support from Union County DPW between the hours of 6AM and 4PM.
During the milling process on Monday and Tuesday, access to driveways, metered parking, the Elm Street commuter parking lot and Central Presbyterian Church lot may be limited. During paving on Wednesday, access to driveways and lots from Elm Street will be completely restricted.
Pathways for pedestrians and access for emergency vehicles will be established.
