SUMMIT, N.J., March 11, 2020 – The City of Summit continues to closely monitor developments in the global outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), providing daily updates on new mitigation practices and protocols being implemented citywide on the city website and social media channels (Facebook, twitter and Instagram).
While there remains a high level of uncertainty about the potential impact of the virus, city officials are initiating a number of practices to help promote containment of it. These actions are based on guidance and recommendations from health officials, and a priority to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the Summit community and city staff.
