12:30PM update: Service on the Gladstone line has resumed and we are expecting normal operations through the evening rush hour. There are several parking spots on Railroad Avenue (close to Maple Street) that will be blocked off for the next week or so. NJ Transit is in the process of repairing a crumbling section of wall adjacent to the tracks.

9AM: Gladstone Branch rail service along the Morris & Essex Lines is suspended for the morning rush on Thursday, September 21 until further notice due to emergency repair work. NJ Transit is advising customers to drive to Summit or Denville where they can board Morris & Essex Lines trains; drive to Bridgewater or Somerville to board Raritan Valley Line trains; or drive to Newark Penn Station to board trains to Penn Station New York. Summit parking is FILLED TO CAPACITY. Please look for an alternative to driving to Summit such as buses or ridesharing (Uber or Lyft).
