Beginning on Friday, November 10, a new temporary traffic pattern will be implemented on Broad Street between Park Avenue and Walnut Street. As part of this new traffic pattern, a stop sign will be installed at the intersection of Park Avenue and Broad Street, and one westbound lane of Broad Street will be fully closed. These changes are being implemented to support the installation of parking spaces on the north side of Broad Street along the Salerno Duane property.
The temporary traffic pattern will be implemented for a few weeks to allow the Summit Police Department and Engineering Division to observe and make necessary adjustments before the changes are implemented permanently by the end of 2023 or early 2024.
