In 2023, additional Summit Free Market weekday events will be held on one Friday each month from March to December, excluding November, from 12PM to 2PM. Summit Free Market Saturday events are held on the second Saturday of each month from 8AM to 3PM. Donate any unwanted, yard sale-quality items, and browse other donated items for free. Located at the City of Summit Transfer Station on 40 New Providence Ave. No appointments are necessary. No unsorted boxes or bags will be accepted. A Summit resident permit is required to enter the Transfer Station facility and for other resident-only services like parking on certain levels in the Broad Street garage and other resident-only lots. Summit residents can obtain a permit online or in person at the Parking Services Agency at City Hall on 512 Springfield Avenue in Summit.
